Burlington Segway Tours : Guided tour of downtown Burlington, the waterfront, the bike path and UVM with ease. No prior experience needed!
Lake Champlain Chocolate Factory: Watch how classic handcrafted chocolates are made by local chocolatiers from cocoa bean to foil-wrapped delight. Sample & buy some to take home.
Echo Leahy Center & Aquarium: Innovative science center and aquarium on the shores of Lake Champlain. Great fun for all ages, including over 100 interactive exhibits.
Lake Champlain Scenic Cruises: Narrated daily cruises aboard 115’ cruise boat designed after 19th century steamboats. Narration offers historical information and local information. Relax, enjoy the ride and the views.
 

In Burlington Area, 30 minutes west

Shelburne Museum: Plan a full day at this remarkable museum encompassing 38 exhibition buildings- of which 25 are historic and preserved. Marvel at a Monet, or ride a Carousel. Stroll through a paddle wheeler or covered bridge. Vermont’s #1 attraction.
Vermont Teddy Bear Factory: Build your own bear, or choose one to adopt and make your own. Pre-made outfits, accessories and more are also available. Great fun for kids!
Dog Sled Rides (Winter): Not just simply a ride, but an educational opportunity. Drive your own sled with an experienced guide with you. Since rides are available, conditions permitting, please call to check with the folks at October Siberians on scheduling.

Vermont Annex (Vermont Products Outlet): Vermont-made products from food & spirits to art are presented in this shopping annex in Waterbury Vermont. Take home a little bit of Vermont!
Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream: Watch a short film about the history of how Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield went from taking a $5 correspondence course on ice cream-making into a global phenomenon. Tour the factory and taste the flavor of the day. Gift/scoop shop and retired flavor graveyard. Find your retired favorite!
Cold Hollow Cider Mill: Tour this Vermont store and find hundreds of Vermont-made products, see cider being produced, watch a bee hive work (behind glass!)and have a lunch .The bakery with mouth-watering (and Gourmet Magazine-endorsed!) cider donuts made continuously throughout the day.
